SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) can be a bit of a minefield, even for industry experts as we’re always kept on our toes and things can change overnight with no warning thanks to Google.

We provide SEO consultancy services to keep you ahead of the game (as much as possible), respond to changes and push for the best results in your organic search. An agency or consultant cannot guarantee you top of page results as there’s so many variables at play – over 200 rankings factors to start with, but we strive to increase visibility, traffic & revenue with solid SEO strategies and implementation.

Some of our SEO work

Meridian Granite had very limited organic visibility, only really on branded terms. We worked hand in hand with a top design & development agency to create a brochure website which delivered on many levels; for a user, UX and for SEO. A hard task to achieve all three but the website does just that.

  • 300% increase in rankings
  • 258% increase in traffic
  • Top lead generating channel
  • Google My Business the 2nd top source of leads

blindsbypost had varied success with SEO and needed ongoing strategy and direction to fix and take to the next level.

Some technical fixes, content improvements, Google My Business optimisation efforts and a link building strategy were key

  • 90% increase in traffic
  • 60% increase in number of keywords ranked

What is SEO?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. SEO is the process involved in getting a website seen in the search engine results pages (SERP’s), and improving the positions to get higher up the listings. There’s lots involved & not just writing a blog post ‘for SEO’

What are the types of SEO?

There are three main areas involved in SEO:

  • Technical SEO – optimising your site for crawling and indexing purposes. Lots of factors involved; crawlability, markup, core web vitals to name a few
  • On-page SEO – The strategies to optimise certain pages on a site to help rank for target keywords
  • Off-page SEO – The strategy & techniques taken to improve the websites reputation & authority

How much does SEO cost?

A common misconception about SEO is that it’s free. Whilst you don’t pay for clicks like PPC, to achieve and maintain rankings overtime, you’re going to need to invest significant amounts of time. That time costs money.  As to how much it costs… get in touch!

What SEO tools are best?

ahrefs and SEMRush are our most used, along with Google Keyword Planner for keyword research. But the best SEO tool around is you!

Using brain power to think about the needs of a website user; what they want to see, how they navigate and what content they want to see – this should be at the heart of what is done as an SEO, not what a tool says you should.

Laura and the team managed the social media outreach for the Every Can Counts programme on an ongoing basis for 3 years. During that time, the reach of our key messaging of the importance of recycling drink cans grew positively.  Laura is a pleasure to work with – supportive and responsive – and the creativity developed as the various social media channel popularity grew.
